These are Chinese couplets — two-line, fourteen-word "poems" — that are unique to you and only you. For instance, it can start with the first word of your name and end with the last. These make the best gifts!

 

Prose

Depends on the length; we can work things out if you slide into my DMs. I sure hope this doesn't get taken out of context.

 

For any piece of poetry that you commission, you may request for it to be calligraphed on a Custom Calligraphy Wooden Keychain for the small additional price of SGD$3! As a bonus, you may also choose any hand-painted graphic to be featured on the keychain as well!

 

You will be sent the digital script of the commissioned piece of poetry, no additional charge will be included in the price.

For the Custom Calligraphy Wooden Keychains, which are physical pieces of art, an additional mailing/shipping charge will be included in the price. 

Percentage of Commission Fee being Donated

90% of Dolphenol's commission fees (not inclusive of mailing/shipping charge) will go towards humanitarian aid for Palestine.

Timeframe for Completion of Artwork

The poetry can be expected to be completed and sent to the customer within 3 days of confirmation of the commission.

For the Custom Calligraphy Wooden Keychains, the pieces can be expected to be completed and sent to the customer one week after confirmation of the commission.

tea dwindles in a cold cup left to the crows

—beautiful creatures, their colour

incomprehensible to the human eye—

akin to how as much as i claw at the sky

i cannot perceive heaven

tendrils of incense curl and scatter in waves

—enveloping me in an abyss

between forgotten yesterdays and barren tomorrows—

i sulk stagnant as your memory hollows

i do not know where to go

i will weave a wrinkle of warm wine
